This beaded lion has been hand made using a uniquely southern African craft using wire and beads. The body structure has been hand made out of galvanized wire and then individually beaded. Bundu Designs worked directly with a collective of Zimbabwean artisans to create a unique Safari beaded collection, to transform a traditional craft into contemporary African design. Using wire, beads and metal as their medium, these talented artists are able to shape and create anything from tiny beaded animals to giant wire sculptures, all imbued with the spirit of Africa and her people.
