With a passion for excellence and respect for the earth, these handmade bracelets are crafted by a group of remarkable women in Swaziland. The products are centered around the use of Sisal, a sustainable natural weed that grows wild in Swaziland.
Each coil in this sterling silver bracelet, is hand weaved by a master weaver in Swaziland. Sisal is an invasive weed that grows throughout Swaziland and is ideal for craft production since harvesting does not threaten the country's natural biodiversity. This small weaving business started with 12 women and has now grown to over 800 weavers all earning a sustainable income.
